he says deflect the bullets he perceives are fired on him
And all the chems he stuffs in his body, illicit and legal alike
It sustains him for the moment but even he realizes

That this can't last forever

And he performs the song of a thousand bleeding hearts
he embodies the masses pain, but they dont know he feels it all
the joy is gone from his grace, only catharsis
and even then the release diminishes

the art compels him
